Abstract:

Preliminary data from the common garden experiment in Gutianshan. Approximately 10,000 cuttings from 10 common species were collected from CSPs and planted in a common garden experiment within Gutianshan. Collection and planting took place in August 2012. First measurements were taken in spring 2013. I present here dgh measures and leaf developmental stage of all surviving cuttings of spring 2013.

Design:

Collection of 10 species in all but one CSPs of Gutianshan. In each CSP we aimed to collect 10 cuttings from at least 5 individuals per species (given the species was present in the CSP). All cuttings were planted in a common garden.

Spatial extent:

CSP, Gutianshan National Nature Reserve 29°08'-29°17'N 118°02'-118°11'E

Temporal extent:
