Abstract:
This dataset provides information about the Unlabelled NILEx plot ID and topography for all mesocosm plots (litter decomposition, soil fauna abundance, microbial activity) and an additional map of the plot location within the blocks.
Design:
11 leaf decomposition plots per block with 10 mesocosms, four with mesofauna exclusion (timesteps 1-4, mesh size 15 mm), four with mesofauna inclusion (timesteps 1-4, mesh size 0,25 mm), one backup mesocosm with mesofauna exclusion (timestep 5), one mesocosm with mesofauna inclusion for fungi analysis (timestep 3), respective soil respiration PVC rings
