Abstract:
This piece of data are the weight measurements of the wood samples from the data set: Wood stubs of Site A and B: quantity, density, position and decomposition class Samples were taken in a sub plot in all VIP on both sites A and B. The sub plot was defined as the inner square that is stretched by the planted trees of positions: 06:06, 06:14, 14:06 and 14:14,which is approximately a square with a side length of 10.4 meters. In every Plot for every DC (Decomposition Classes) two wood samples (one with a scope over 63 cm and one witch a scope under 63 cm) had been taken, if these DC with the sizes existed. A hole was drilled with the length of the radius of the stub. The actual depth of the hole was measured. The saw dust was collected and dried at 60 degree celsius. With the weight and the calculated volume of the hole the wood density was measured. The measurements were taken to calculate an explanatory variable for the DC. Design:
Samples were taken in a sub plot in all VIP on both sites A and B. The sub plot was defined as the inner square that is stretched by the planted trees of positions: 06:06, 06:14, 14:06 and 14:14,which is approximately a square with a side length of 10.4 meters. Also for every DC two wood samples (one with a scope over 63 cm and one witch a scope under 63 cm) had been taken, if these DC with the sizes existed. For sampling always the first stub that did

With the weight and the calculated volume of the hole the wood density was measured in two ways. The Density was measured in to ways in the assumption that the hole is shaped like a conus or as a cylinder. The formula for them was: Cone = depth of the hole*radius of the driller^2*pi Cylinder= ((depth of the hole*pi)/3) * (radius of the hole ^2 + radius of the driller* radius of the hole + radius of the driller^2) As unit for the density g/cm^3 was used. density = g/cm

Measurement cirumstances:
Are there circumstances that explain the precision of your measurements? Could it be that a sandstorm destroyed part of the plots in a given year?
Data analysis:
he measurements were taken to calculate an explanatory variable for the DC in the data set: Measurement of wood stubs of Site A and B: quantity, density, position and decomposition class
