Abstract:
This dataset gives information on the occurrence of plant species in raster quadrants in the bavarian cities. It has been compiled from the datasets available from the Biotoptypenkartierung in Bavaria, dataset "Forests". The taxonomy of plant species has not been standardized, yet. This file is only a exemplay excerpt of the total table. The latter is avaialble as an .rds fine for processing in R as an attached freeformat file to this dataset. The code that was used to derive this data from exceprts of an Access database (available to David Eichenberg, can be obtained from him) is als attached as a freefromat file. NOTE: The Biotoptypenkartierung "Forest" in Bavaria is only taken over uncurated from the Forest Minsitry in Bavaria; it is not quality checked in the same way like those in "Alps", "Lowland" and "City".
