Abstract:
This files are used to interpolate the data from the relief profile of Gutianshan (CSPs) and Xingangshan (Experiment) into a 3D-model. Therfor "ESRI ArcGIS shapefile" has been used. Nearer describtions besides can be found in "Sampling description".
Datasets: dem90_BEF_China.asc (final dem, Gutianshan (CSPs) and Xingangshan (Experiment), common ASCII SharedDataFormat), info_DEM90_BEF_China.txt
Converting Lat/Lon (geodetic, WGS84) SRTM to Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) projection; Resolution 90m
Explanantion of DTA (digital terrain analysis)
- data are stored as ESRI ArcGIS shapefile
- all data on slope and apect[1] are given in 'degrees'
- data contain 2 algorithms to calculate slope: mSlope = mean slope[2], sSlope = steepest slope[3]
- standard deviation has been calculated for elevation and for mean and steepest slope as parameter which describes the terrain based heterogeneity of the plots
- DGM (*.asc) and shapefile are according to WGS 84
