Abstract:
To test the effect of diversity on stand productivity, in summer 2018 and 2012 we measure the diameter at breast height (DBH) of alI individuals with a DBH between 3 and 10 cm in the central subplot of each CSP (the central subplot is a 10 x 10 m square in the middle of the CSP). In 2012, we also measured the height (parallel to the stem if the tree was leaning) of the same trees.
Design:
In 2008, 27 plots were established. The size of each plot was 30 m x 30 m. In the central subplot of each CSP we marked all trees with a DBH between 3 and 10 cm, and monitor their growth in 2008 and 2012.
