Abstract:
Area (in m²) and percentage of different soil types in the Raster Quadrants (MTB_Q) in Germany. The presented table below is only an exemplary datasheet from a full data frame (it would be very big). The full file is available from David Eichenberg. A script how the data were aggregated is also given in the freeformat section of this entry.

This describes the freely available data of the Bundesanstalt fuer Geowissenschaften und Rohstoffe, Stilleweg 2, 30655 Hannover. Digitale Kartengrundlage 1 : 3 000 000 der Bundesanstalt fuer Geowissenschaften und Rohstoffe, abgeleitet aus dem DLM1000 des Bundesamtes fuer Kartographie und Geodaesie (BKG), Frankfurt am Main.
