Description:
Hirst-type pollen traps will be placed in plots with and without allergenic birch or hornbeam, and activated for one month during pollen peak. Daily pollen concentration, separated between allergenic grasses, target species and other species will be compared between diversity levels. We use random walks between a series of plots with different forest biodiversity in the pollen peak season by people with known target pollen allergy from different socio-demographic background, who will plot-wise score their well-being.
