Abstract:
The raw data for cover of understorey, shrubs, and trees at 3 subplots on every 1- and 3- tree species plots in Treeweb, Belgium
Design:
The plot is divided into nine quadrants for each of the 1 and 3-tree species plots. In the centre of three quadrants (north-east (a), central (b), south-west (c)), a subplot of 5 m x 5 m was set, following the previous survey+A57. At each subplot we recorded all vascular plants in the canopy, shrub layer, and understorey vascular plant. The coverage estimation for each layer and for each species in the layer was done using the Londo scale.
