Abstract:
Soil samples for mycorrhizae analyses were taken during the 2017 SoilForEUROPE field sampling campaign with the aim to assess whether tree species mixing influences soil fungi and (ecto-)mycorrhizal biomass and diversity. This dataframe contains the measured plot-level mycorrhizae data for the soil depth 0-10 cm.

For each plot, 5 soil cores were taken to a depth of 10 cm of the mineral soil for each of the respective five subplots ("tree triplets"). Diversity and biomass of fungi were measured by the SFE project partners in Halle (Luis Daniel Prada-Salcedo et al.).
