Abstract:
This dataset contains the number of juveniles and seedlings were found in 16 subplots of 1m x1m, located in the central quadrant (in the upper half) of the main plot and estimation of percent stone cover, shrub cover, herb cover, litter cover, dead wood cover and moss cover for each 1*1m.
Design:
Firstly, the regeneration plot (4m x4 m) was delimited in the central quadrant (in the upper half) of the main plot. After, the regeneration plot (4m x4 m) was subdivided in 16 subplots (1m x 1m). Within each 1x1m subplot, the juveniles and seedlings from the focal tree species were identified. Also, the cover of rocks and stone (% rock), shrub (% shrub), herb (% herb), moss, dead wood and litter were estimated for each 1m x1m.
