Abstract:
This dataset contains the tree and ground vegetation fine root biomass per m2.
Design:
Soil cores were taken from 8-9 location on each plot, and fine roots (diam. < 2mm) were extracted from the soil. Roots were classified as tree and other roots, dried at 40°C and weighed. Data are presented as root biomass per area (g m-2).
